Mushroom pickers shoot and kill female grizzly near Choteau.

“State wildlife officials report two mushroom pickers shot and killed a grizzly bear near Choteau. It happened Wednesday night about a mile north of town.
The men say they shot and killed the adult female grizzly at close range after she charged.
They were not injured during the encounter.
Officials are searching for a cub spotted with the grizzly.”
